and all the help that went into getting them shipped out. 

Knox County churches are surely one-of-a-kind!

A report on the Buckets of Hope for Haiti:  You collected 9,650 buckets
with 300,000 lbs of food valued at $400,000 worth of relief effort!  That
is amazing and could not have been done if it were not for the Director of
Missions.  All buckets have made it to Miami and are being sent to Haiti.

In addition, the KBC has received nearly $150,000 of cash donations with
$50,000 sent to the Florida Baptist Convention and the rest primarily
spent on food and medical supplies.  8 Kentucky Baptist  DR teams have
been sent (40 individuals) since the earthquake.  Two additional KBC DR
teams are scheduled to be sent in April.  In addition to these groups
several Ky Baptist churches have sent groups to Haiti through connections
that they have established over the years.

Money for the shipping of the buckets have been received from about 1/2 of
our associations.  For the associations that have not send in what they
collected off the buckets, please send as soon as possible.

Again, thanks for the amazing work you did.  I am convinced that as a
group you are the best ADOMs in all of America!
